If you are looking for a sign to go on a girl’s trip this is it! Sedona has everything: great food, pools, excursions & hiking! The views are incredible even if you aren’t the hiking type (like me) haha
Where we stayed:
We stayed at Hotel Arabella and had a great experience! I would upgrade to one of the rooms with a patio or balcony. The location of the hotel is great & the onsite restaurant has amazing food! We also utilized the pool every day!
What we Did:
Hiking:
We did a group hike the first morning where I realized my version of “outdoorsy” is drinking by the pool haha After that, half our group did morning hikes, and the other half did brunches/laid by the pool. There are so many hikes of different skill levels in Sedona, all of them have a great view! Just remember to do your research especially with the parking situation.
Wineries:
We spent an afternoon at Page Springs Cellars and did the Estate Winery Tour with 5 tastings. The best part of the tour for me was getting to taste a wine directly from the barrel. If you don’t want to attend a tour, their tasting room has amazing views & offers wine flight options.
Pool Time:
Whatever you do make sure where you are staying has a pool- we spent a lot of time at the pool!
Where we Ate:
My biggest piece of advice for Sedona is make your dinner reservation EARLY! We made ours a month in advance and there were some restaurants we couldn’t get into. The ones we did get into we had dinner after 8 o’clock.
Saltrock Southwest Kitchen:
We went here for lunch and have nothing but good things to say: the views, the drinks & food were all great!
The Hudson:
Put this on your
Mole:
We couldn’t get a dinner reservation on Friday night, so we had a pool night and ordered food to-go from Mole (the restaurant at our hotel). The carne asada and the lamb adobo were two of our favorite things. Also the spicy margaritas are so good!
Creekside American Bistro:
We went here for brunch on Saturday- the warm croissants are a
Mariposa:
There is a reason this is one of the most sought-after dinner reservations in Sedona. All the food was incredible & the atmosphere was just wow! Splurge and go here for dinner!
What to Pack:
Sedona is a very casual city; sundresses & nice shorts are perfect. Even though it’s dry heat, it was very hot! So cool, light outfits are a must.
